“The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.”

About Us

At Mother Earth’s Learning Center, we bring the principles of caring for and regenerating the Earth directly to children through our specialized mobile services. Our pop-up sensory experiences teach young children about plant life and gardening principles through hands-on sensory bin activities that simulate the real-life experience of harvesting their own food. This approach fosters a deep connection to nature and instills lifelong sustainability practices.

Our brand is built on the values of quality childcare, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. We prioritize creating a safe, nurturing environment where families can learn and explore together, cultivating a community centered on a love for learning and respect for the Earth. Our commitment to these values is further exemplified through our ability to bring these enriching experiences to various locations, our plans for sustainable brand merchandise, and future community-driven events that reinforce our mission.

Our Unique Philosophies

Reggio Emilia

We view children as competent collaborators. Nature becomes their “third teacher,” with open-ended explorations and project-based learning that sparks curiosity and discovery.

Montessori

Our natural environment is a wonderland for self-directed learning. Children explore at their own pace, interacting with natural materials and engaging with activities designed to foster independence and a love of learning.

Waldorf

Rhythms of nature guide our days. Through imaginative play, storytelling, and nature walks, children will be able to connect with the world around them, fostering creativity and a sense of wonder.

Why nature-based childcare?

Deep connection with nature

Collaborative learning and strong social skills

Development of creativity, problem-solving, and independence

A love for learning that sets a foundation for future success

While other types of facilities aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a more traditional approach, nature-based childcare centers often have additional goals related to environmental awareness, sustainability, and fostering a love for nature in children.

The difference lies in the emphasis on nature, outdoor play, and hands-on learning experiences.
